My most recent full-length production, JAVA JIVE, was staged
at the Avery Point Playhouse, Groton, CT., in March, 2002. Previous
productions of this work were staged at the 2000 Midtown International
Play Festival and The Producer's Club, April, 2000, both
in New York.

My play NO PRUNE was produced by First Stage, L.A., as part of
their annual one-act festival. NO PRUNE has also been produced
at the 1998 Samuel French Off-Off Broadway Short Play Festival, and
by D-Stages, both in New York; THIS HAS BEEN SOME DAY, produced
by Theatrix Theater Company as part of their annual Drop Your Shorts
Play Festival, 1999 and by The Riant Theater, at their Strawberry Festival,
2001; KILLER SCHWARTZ, was staged by D-Stages, at their annual
New York Short Play Festival and Theatrix Theater Company as part of
their annual play festival, 2000.

My full-length play, LOWENSTEIN, recently placed second in a
field of 280 in the 2001 'Playwrights First' National Playwrighting
Contest sponsored by the National Arts Club, NY.
My one-act, ALI, is to be produced by the Avery Point Playhouse,
Fall 2002.
My film script, MURRAY'S NEW PLOT, was a 1997 finalist in the CineStory
national film script competition. I have had a dozen short stories published,
some of which have been finalists in national writing contests.
I earned a Ph.D. in Psychology a long time ago and have earned a Masters
of Fine Art in Playwrighting from Brooklyn College. I served on the board
of directors of 'D' Stages Writers Workshop. I am a member of The New
Jersey Dramatists, First Stages and The Dramatists Guild. I also teach
creative writing at the New Jersey College University.
